Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)

In this section you will find our SEND information report, an EHCP template, a list of external organisations we have links with, and templates for our provision map, SEND support plan/passport and our intervention grid.

At Hugh Myddelton, we recognise that every child has their own needs and abilities.  We embrace our responsibility to help each and every child fulfil their potential, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND). We ensure that children and young people with SEND receive an education that enables them to make progress so that they:

  • achieve their best;
  • become confident individuals living fulfilling lives; and
  • make a successful transition into adulthood, whether into employment, further or higher education, or training.

School SEND Information Report

The SEND Information Report answers the most frequently asked questions about the school and SEND and can be viewed by clicking the link below.

The format and information in this report was been developed through:

  • consultation with local parents and carers by Islington Council;
  • on going feedback from parents and carers and school staff at Hugh Myddelton.

We will review and update this information report regularly to reflect changes and feedback.
